Pieces of plyboard are attached to a ‘Lepper & Meyer Carriers’ flatbed truck, seen from the left side. A sign held up on a plywood brace has “WEIR as we’re seen by the PUB-LIC”, painted in black across two pieces of plywood. Attached to the cabin and the side of the truck is a square piece that says “DOWN with DRINK / UP with Women” A tilted beer pint has been painted above the word ‘drink’, a woman in a dress has been painted above the word ‘women’. A table sits on the flatbed with two chairs and a bottle of beer. Another sign can be seen down the end that says “HOW to keep the stork away – shoot it in the air”. On the sides of the flatbed truck, another piece of plywood has “Luv is not a melody but the Twang of a distant bedspring” written on the left, with a Weir ‘coat of arms’ in the middle, featuring (from left to right) a bottle of wine, a bed, a pipe and a fork crossed with a knife. The phrase “to bacchus” is written on a ribbon beneath. On the right of this large piece of plywood the phrase “It’s not the stork that brings the babies it’s the LARKS in the Moonlight” is painted.
