On the back of the carving is a cut-out colour photograph of five Maori holding hands, and a border of black, white and red Maori pattern runs along the left side of the poster. Also includes the text: PSA, PO Box 3817, Wellington. The Manaia above represents a Toa Awhina (helping warrior) which is there protecting its people and challenging others. We are wrapped up in this spirit of a challenging progressive guardian Toa who will Awhina us all in an embracing way to allow all to stand tall together.'
