To the right of the poster is text about the services which will be lost when the Post Office is reorganised. The text also states that the hardest hit will be the elderly, young mothers at home, beneficiaries and the unemployed. It asks people to write to their local M.P and 'Keep your Post Office local'. The poster was designed by the Wellington Media Collective for the New Zealand Post Office Union. There is also a logo 'Save Our Post Office'.

Sticker on rear of poster states 'This poster is on long term loan to TUEA from Therese O'Connell. The poster has been laminated with a grant made available by the Ministry of Women's Affairs.'
